Automated Supplies Fulfillment
The single greatest expense associated with printer and copier networks is the procurement of supplies for onsite hardware. Within most organizations, the end user makes a request to the Purchasing Department. Then purchasing procures a source and initiates the effort to fulfill their supplies requirements. As a result, the end user purchases supplies from any local, available option… not necessarily the most cost effective source. The model fails to source the best price and fails to maintain the appropriate stock levels, which ultimately leads to costly work stoppages.

OneSource's Automated Supplies Fulfillment program uses a locally loaded software that will monitor each SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) enabled printer on a daily basis, and offer "Just In Time" supplies fulfillment. When hardware runs low on supplies, it automatically places an order for replacement. Our clients are then able to eliminate tied up capital in stock on shelves, which will reduce the need for employee involvement. Ultimately, they better utilize their time and productivity, and eliminate work stoppages due to no supply stock.
